Description
Wire wrapped Mookaite cabochon pendant and chain.
This handmade copper pendant holds a wonderfully coloured Mookaite cabochon. The stone, which is predominantly red, has mustard yellow colour markings too. The stone is held securely by the wires at the sides, the front and the back.
I have oxidised the copper to create an attractive antique finish and coated it with Everbrite/Protectaclear. This prevents tarnishing of the pendant and gives a barrier between the copper and your skin.
The bail holds the included 18 inch manufactured, antique copper colour Cable link chain. Beneath the bail I have added swirls of wire for decoration and highlights.
From the top of the bail, the pendant is approximately 5 cm in LENGTH (around 2 inches)
